Each year, Project Crimson and the Mazda Foundation provide grants towards a native plant garden for four schools in NZ. So get your best gardening creative minds together and let them know in 200 words (or less) why you think they should transform an area of your school into a Treemendous outdoor area to be enjoyed for generations to come.

Application entries for stage 1 close 22 May 2013. Entry forms can be found at http://www.mazdafoundation.org.nz/treemendous.html#/treemendous.

The Mazda Foundation also provides grants to individuals, schools and communities for a variety of projects including conservation, education and culture. Check it out at http://www.mazdafoundation.org.nz/index.html#/grantGuidelines.
