GreenDrinks Dunedin: in the Back Room of Filadelfios at the Gardens

TOPIC THIS MONTH Money and Oil - How cheap energy has led to a vulnerable currency system and what we can do about it

Is your money secure? How vulnerable is our community’s economy to the impacts of peak oil? What can we do to create strong economic resilience at the community level? Our speaker this month is Professor Bob Lloyd, Director of the Energy Studies Programme at the University of Otago.  Bob will outline how declining easy energy (oil) will impact on our monetary system and what we can do to increase our resilience.

To contact Bob, email bob.lloyd@otago.ac.nz
